Whether it's with their high energy, blow the roof off rock show, or stripped down, intimate acoustic sets, Merrill has been winning over a legion of fans with their emotionally charged music since 2006.
The band consists of singer/songwriter/guitarist Chris Merrill, lead guitarist Eli Johnson, bass player Robert Finn, Keyboardist Jeremy Dan, and drummer Joe Gardner to bring you music that manages a soulful past with a blend of rhythm and rock to form a sound that transcends categories.
Merrill's high energy rock presence have made them the perfect opening act for such bands as Maroon 5, Counting Crows, and Augustana. They were also asked to play the 2007 Bumbershoot Music Festival with Crowded House, Fergie, and Kings Of Leon, and received regional airplay for their song "The One Thing" from their first album "Evolutions." The band has a licensing agreement with Fox Sports for the use of their song "Back 4 More" and donate their time by playing charity events for Boys and Girls Aid, The Red Cross, and The American Cancer Society, and various local charities.
Merrill released their debut album, "Evolutions" in September of 2008 and released their follow up, "A Beautiful Disaster" in September of 2009.
